At 11:35 p.m. EDT, the Soyuz MS-13 spacecraft with three Expedition 60 members inside undocked from the International Space Station’s Zvezda service module. They are beginning a 25-minute journey to relocate their spacecraft to the to the Poisk module. Second Docking Attempt for Russian Spacecraft Planned for Monday Night
International Space Station managers and the international partners met on Saturday and approved a plan to allow a second rendezvous and docking attempt for the unpiloted Soyuz MS-14 spacecraft to occur on Monday night. The Soyuz’ initial docking attempt early Saturday was aborted after what Russian officials said was a suspected problem with a component associated with the Kurs automated rendezvous system for the Poisk module docking port.

Unpiloted Soyuz Capsule With Humanoid Robot On Board Finally Reaches Space Station
For the first time in history, a Russian Soyuz spacecraft linked up with the International Space Station without a human in the driver’s seat. Called Soyuz MS-14, the unpiloted spacecraft docked at the space station late Tuesday (Aug. 26), parking itself at a port on the aft end of the outpost’s Russian Zvezda service module. It was the second attempt by Soyuz MS-14 to dock at the station after a Saturday try ended with a surprise abort.

Die ‚Erde als Exoplanet‘ ist ein beliebtes Experiment: Man messe ihr Licht auf eine Weise, wie auch die Strahlung eines erdähnlichen Exoplaneten eines Tages gemessen werden kann – und versuche zu rekonstruieren, was für eine Welt man da vor sich hat. In diesem Fall hier sind es die Erdbilder der Kamera EPIC auf dem Satelliten DSCOVR, der immer eine voll beleuchtete Scheibe sieht: Kontinente, Meere und vor allem helle Wolken, wobei im Jahreslauf mal auf den Äquator und mal mehr auf den einen oder anderen Pol geschaut wird. Rund 10’000 Bilder in 10 Farbkanälen wurden dann jeweils zu einem Punkt zusammen gerechnet, so dass 10 „Lichtkurven“ heraus kamen:
